What You'll Do:
As the
Branch Assistant Manager
, you'll be the go-to person on the warehouse floor--supporting supervisors, leading warehouse associates, and making sure daily logistics operations run smoothly. You'll play a key role in ensuring the team stays on task, product flows accurately, and safety remains top-of-mind.
Coordinate daily schedules and assign tasks to warehouse team members to ensure productivity and quality standards.
Lead by example in handling, organizing, and storing incoming and outgoing materials.
Conduct daily cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory levels.
Train new team members and coach existing staff to grow their skills and ensure safe work practices.
Monitor and promote safety compliance in alignment with company standards.
Assist in problem-solving and resolving workflow issues with your team.
Oversee and participate in daily warehouse functions: order picking, staging, restocking, and truck loading/unloading.
Serve as a liaison between supervisors and staff to ensure clear communication and successful operations.
Step up to manage full warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager and General Manager.
What You Bring to the Team:
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
1+ years of warehouse or logistics experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Prior leadership or team lead experience is an asset.
Skills & Knowledge
Hands-on experience with inventory systems, forklift operation, and warehouse procedures.
Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to motivate others and model a positive, proactive attitude.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and work at heights over 15 feet.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and climbing for long periods.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and loud environments.
Must have the flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends if required.
