Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components with precision and efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to ensure high-quality production standards are met. The Press Brake Operator plays a vital role in fabricating custom metal parts and assemblies for various industrial applications.

Duties

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend sheet metal according to detailed blueprints and specifications Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine proper machine settings Use hand tools, calipers, and measuring devices to ensure accurate dimensions and quality standards Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to verify conformity to specifications Collaborate with team members on assembly processes when necessary Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Assist with other machining tasks such as CNC laser cutting.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming, CNC laser cutting, and welding is preferred Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings Proficiency in using calipers, hand tools, and other measurement instruments for quality inspection Basic math skills necessary for machine setup and measurement calculations Knowledge of crane operation, forklift handling, and material movement is a plus Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a manufacturing setting Mechanical aptitude combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
