The Brake Press Operator reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Main Responsibilities

Operation of an AccuPress CNC brake Read drawings Able to follow written and verbal instruction Must have a strong work ethic Meticulously organized and ability to keep a clean workspace Quick to learn new skills Strong attention to detail

Secondary Responsibilities

Good communication with co-workers in a collaborative team environment Develop and maintain a regular cleaning schedule to ensure the machine shop is kept tidy and well organized upon completion of work assignments Attributes and Skills Crane operation Able to work autonomously and uses good decision-making practices Organizational and planning skills Good written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience with operation of CNC Accupress experience preferred Understand and perform safe work practices Overhead crane training an asset

Physical Requirements

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs - fitness test required Standing on your feet for a long period of time Have good eye to hand coordination Be able to bend, crouch and kneel for extended periods Ability to wear personal protective gear most of the day

Shift Availability

Days - Monday to Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Afternoons - Monday - Thursday 4:00 pm - 2:30 am Future Weekend shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday When our shop is busy, overtime is scheduled and expected
