Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience operating press brake machines. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake equipment to produce high-quality metal components. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure production goals are met while adhering to safety standards and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate the press brake machine to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required standards. Utilize basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions for machining processes. Collaborate with team members to assemble parts and components as needed. Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. Operate cranes safely for moving materials within the production area. Assist in laser cutting operations when required, ensuring precision in all tasks. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar machining role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues effectively. Familiarity with CNC operations is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Experience with lathe operations is a plus. Attention to detail with a commitment to quality inspection of finished products. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a focus on safety. Willingness to learn new techniques and processes related to metal fabrication.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.43-$29.81 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
