Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking a highly skilled Stainless B-Pressure Welder with strong fabrication experience in a shop setting, proven high-volume production ability, and an eye for detail.

Schedule Rotation: Monday to Friday Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

Perform accurate

B-Pressure

welding on stainless steel piping and components Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass required inspections Work collaboratively with Pipefitters, apprentices, and shop crew to maintain efficient shop flow. Mentor and guide apprentices as needed. Maintain safe work practices and uphold shop standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

What We are Looking For

CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 F6 - F5 ticket Valid Driver's License (not GDL) A valid Journeyperson Welder Certification and B-Pressure Certification (Red Seal/recognized trade ticket required) Proven experience welding stainless steel (TIG and SMAW processes) Proven fabrication shop experience; field background considered if shop skills are strong. Exceptional blueprint and isometric reading skills with the ability to identify errors. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production welding targets. Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork. Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
