Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing heavy lifting techniques as needed. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including moving materials and operating forklifts.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Experience in warehouse operations is a plus, including familiarity with forklift operation. Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions during deliveries. Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate delivery records and schedules.
