Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Bouncer to ensure the safety and security of our venue. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining order, enforcing rules, and providing a safe environment for patrons and staff. This role requires strong conflict management skills and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.

Duties

Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to control access and maintain security. Conduct thorough checks of patrons for prohibited items and ensure compliance with venue policies. Respond promptly to incidents, including conflicts or disturbances, using conflict management techniques. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to handle serious situations or emergencies. Utilize surveillance equipment, such as CCTV, to monitor activities within the venue. Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the health and safety of all guests. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage within the premises. Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patrons, addressing concerns or inquiries as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of conflict management techniques and ability to de-escalate tense situations. Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention practices. Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed by the venue's schedule. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
