job Summary
We are seeking professional and reliable Bouncers with a
customer service-centric approach
to join our team. The ideal candidates will ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, clients, and visitors while providing friendly and helpful support. This role requires vigilance, strong communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to respond effectively to both security situations and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns.
Control access by verifying identification and screening individuals when necessary.
Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage.
Deliver a
customer service-focused experience
by assisting staff, clients, and visitors with professionalism, respect, and courtesy.
Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and incidents.
Write accurate and detailed reports of incidents, and irregularities.
Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and management when required.
Enforce house policies while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Ensure compliance with the
MTA dress code requirements or the venue's dress code standards
while on duty.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years experience in a security guard role.
Must have a valid Security worker license.
Strong
customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
.
First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
Ability to remain calm, approachable, and professional in all situations.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Physically fitness; able to physically stop altercations, stand or patrol for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to improve and receptive to constructive feedback.
