Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for internal inspection of all types of aluminum casted parts. When necessary removing the imperfections inside the parts, inspecting internal passages for quality.


Using Boroscope camera and equipment removes the internal imperfections for various types of aluminum casted parts Performs the internal inspection of all parts and makes a responsible decision to accept, repair or scrap the part per documented instructions Follows established protocol for notification of potential deviations or scrap trends Utilizes the necessary fixturing or gauges to assure dimensional conformance of the part Sets up and maintains small appliances as required to perform specific activities Maintains the necessary stock of materials for the area to maximize productivity Maintains necessary documentation Willing to be cross trained in other roles/departments Other duties as assigned
