Aero Rental Services, a division of Western Energy Services Corp., is hiring a BOP Service Technician to join our growing team in our Blackfalds location!

Western Energy Services Corp. is an oilfield service company which provides contract drilling services through Horizon Drilling in Canada and Stoneham Drilling Corporation in the United States. In addition, Western provides well servicing through Eagle Well Servicing in Canada, and provides rental services through Aero Rental Services in Canada.

The position of BOP Service Technician is responsible for shop and field equipment servicing. Field work is minimal, but would including BOP and frac head rig ups and tear downs as well as equipment maintenance and operation on customer locations. This position will also be required to complete all other operational tasks as directed by Management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• BOP servicing, troubleshooting and repairs
• Occasionally complete field rig ups, tear downs and maintenance of BOP\'s and frac heads
• Complete post-job equipment servicing work orders and submit to billing clerk
• Complete daily crane and forklift inspections
• Assist management in day to day operations in all aspects for Aero requirements, including other items not mentioned above

• Previous site knowledge of drilling and completion activities is an asset
• Previous BOP service and repair experience an asset
• Must be available for an \xe2\x80\x9cOn Call\xe2\x80\x9d schedule evenings and weekends
• Must be safety oriented
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited supervision
• Valid Driver\'s License
• H2S, First Aid tickets considered an asset
• Fork Lift Training considered an asset
• Over Crane Certified considered an asset
• Other duties as required
