General Duties & Responsibilities:



Post Accounts Payable Prepare monthly payables Maintain and update project status spreadsheets Enter timesheets for bi-weekly payroll Prepare Credit applications Organize and maintain both physical and digital financial records Perform reception duties as required Schedule and manage day to day administrative operations Monitor, order, and occasionally pick up mail and office supplies Assist with coordinating company social events and promotional activities Serve on the Health and Safety Committee and keep the minutes

Skills

:

Bookkeeping experience is required Accounts payable and accounts receivable is required Proficiency in Sage 50 considered an asset Experience with Payworks an asset Proficiency in MS Office Suite required,

especially Excel

Basic knowledge of the millwork or cabinet making manufacturing trade an asset Ability to perform duties without supervision Ability to work well under pressure and to learn assigned tasks and new procedures quickly

Summary



We are seeking a meticulous and proactive bookkeeping/administrative assistant to join our finance team across several companies. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in bookkeeping and administrative support. Proficiency in bookkeeping and Excel is crucial and we along with the ability to manage multiple companies' financial records efficiently. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
