Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.

Duties

Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QBO, Sage, CCH Ifirm Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Conduct bank reconciliations on a regular basis to verify account balances. Preparing of GST, PST and HST Process payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with regulations. Collaborate with owners to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.

Skills

Proficiency in accounting software including QBO, Sage, is essential. Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing. Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation effectively. Excellent analytical skills for account analysis and budgeting tasks. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
