The receptionist position will require answering and forwarding phone calls, meeting and greeting clients, booking showings, sorting and handling mail, ordering supplies, taking and tracking rental payments, and more. The bookkeeper position requires bill paying, posting information to accounting journals, paying company taxes, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and real estate broker transactions. The bookkeeper will also reconcile accounts to ensure their accuracy. Our bookkeeper candidate should have a minimum of 1 year experience, as well as a knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of Quickbooks online, Accounting and Payroll Administration. Additional Bookkeeping duties will be, but not limited to: - AP/AR - Payroll - GST/PST monthly - WCB - Source deductions - Preparing year end, working closely with outside accountants - Inventory - Monthly financial snap shots - Monthly bank/ credit card reconciliation - Reception position will be answering phones and scheduling sales calls.
