Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will play an important role in managing day to day office operations and maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Job type: Full time (8 am - 5pm)

Start date: mid- late January 2026

Work location: In person with onsite parking.

Salary: $60,000 - $64,000 per year (DOE)

Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation (15 work days)

Core areas of responsibility for the position role may include but are not limited to:



Full cycle accounting knowledge. Payroll - Responsible for all aspects of processing a bi-monthly payroll thru ADP Accounts receivable, invoicing and collections Accounts payable processing and allocation to specific projects Credit card processing, includes attaching receipts, allocation to projects and reconciling accounts Reconciliation of bank statements and credit cards Month end reporting functions General accounting functions including accounts maintenance, correspondence and other Admin duties as assigned Assist occasionally with office related tasks such as arranging out of town accommodation and directing Manage invoicing, receipts and payments into appropriate accounting software Perform bank reconciliations on a specific timeline as directed and manage all banking duties required by the businesses Follow up outstanding receivables, maintain records and provide reports as required Prepare GST/HST/EHT tax returns, payroll remittances and annual slips returns

Required Skills & Qualifications:



Post Secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an asset.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
