We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our office operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our administrative processes. We will start new hire at $25/hr and increase accordingly depending on ability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with proficiency in Business View (training available) software. This role requires mature communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient office environment.
Duties
Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare financial statements and reports, including budgeting and account analysis.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software.
Process payroll accurately (12 employees) and on time while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits as needed.
Assist in developing office policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including bookkeeping and payroll processing.
Proficiency in accounting.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and budgeting is required.
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
