is a French Artisan Bakery in BC, located in Coquitlam. Our team of Bakers, Packers, Sales, and Logistics work around the clock to produce and distribute bread without any chemical preservatives, GMO grain or high gluten elements to the entire lower mainland.

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Bookkeeper/ Office Assistant

to join our growing company. This role focuses primarily on Accounts Receivable and core bookkeeping tasks like bank entries and EDI data processing, with occasional light administrative support. The ideal candidate is accountable, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys contributing to a positive, team-oriented workplace while keeping our financial processes accurate and efficient.

Key Responsibilities



Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), including recording payments, following up with customers on outstanding balances, entering EDI transactions accurately and timely, and preparing cheque deposits. Apply effective collection practices to help maintain healthy cash flow and support company financial goals. Record and reconcile bank transactions. Provide backup support for payment runs and invoicing as needed. Liaise with Production and Logistics teams to ensure billing accuracy and timely data exchange. Greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Answer and direct phone calls, perform light administrative duties, including handling e-filing, document organization, and office support. Assist with other accounting and administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications



Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Office Administration. 1-3 years of related experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Proactive and accountable work style, with demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through independently. Experience with QuickBooks Desktop is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall computer literacy. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
