Bookkeeper/Customer Service Representative

Fast-paced coffee company looking for a reliable, hands on, enthusiastic team player to complete bookkeeping and customer service tasks.

Qualifications:

2 years bookkeeping preferred.

Proficient on a computer; familiar with software programs such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, POS systems.

Experience in food service/manufacturing industry an asset.

Must be able to work flexible hours.

Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.

Must have effective problem solving/decision making abilities.

Excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment with other staff

Duties:

Responsible for accounts receivable and payable and follow up

Reconcile accounts, credit cards, bank accounts, monthly vendor statements

Post journal entries

Prepare weekly bank deposit

Complete month end reports

Prepare year end

Prepare tax remittance, workers compensation, and tax return

Answer the phone

Process customer credit cards

File invoices

Place orders with vendors

Answer emails and email weekly invoices

Education

Bookkeeping diploma preferred

Salary

Starting at $48,000
