TransPower Construction Ltd., a leading power line construction contractor located in Delta, BC, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Bookkeeper/Controller

to join our team. The successful candidate will bring strong accounting expertise, proven industry experience, and the ability to manage both financial and administrative functions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and reconciliations Oversee contracts and related documentation Communicate regularly with BC Hydro and other customers Handle general administrative tasks to support operations Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all financial records Foster a collaborative and organized office environment
Qualifications

Minimum

5 years of experience

in the power line construction or utility industry

Experience working with BC Hydro

is strongly preferred Strong proficiency in

QuickBooks

(mandatory) Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial management Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
