A&A Marine Foods Group is a growing group of companies primarily comprising of a fresh-water fish processing and commercial fishing companies in a newly constructed facility in Tilbury, Ontario. The previous operation was located in Blenheim, Ontario. We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking office administrator to join our growing team. We are seeking a candidate with strong communication skills, detail oriented and have good time management skills. Our fast-paced office requires the ideal candidate to be able to multi-task, work independently, as well as in a team, and be well organized. Proficiency in Sage Accounting, Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel is a requirement of this position.
Responsibilities:
Perform office administrative duties such answering multiple phone lines, addressing emails, organization of documentation and customer service;
Managing on-premise retail sales and petty cash transactions;
Create and maintain filing system, both hard and electronic copies;
Assist with the preparation of documentation for government reporting;
Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for office operations;
Assist with accounting clerk duties as assigned, including processing accounts payable, visa reconciliations, petty cash reconciliations and others tasks; and
Other assigned duties and responsibilities as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proficient in Sage Accounting or equivalent accounting software
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word;
Excellent communication, organizational and customer service skills;
Problem solver, works well independently and as part of a team;
Post-secondary business administration and/or accounting education is an asset; and,
Dedicated, motivated and hardworking individual with a strong attention to detail.
