Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with experience using various accounting software. You will be responsible for managing financial records, assisting with payroll, and supporting the overall administrative functions of the organization.

Duties



Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining financial documentation. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for various accounting functions. Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting activities to support financial planning. Prepare reports and summaries of financial activities as required by management. Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications



Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, and bookkeeping practices. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
