We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to manage financial records and support day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative tasks, with strong communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
Bookkeeping Duties:
Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
Process accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank and credit card statements
Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end closing
Manage payroll and employee expense tracking
File HST/GST and other government remittances
Office Administration:
Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems
Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
Order office supplies and manage vendor relationships
Schedule meetings and support calendar management
Assist with document preparation and data entry
Support general office operations and team coordination
Qualifications
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or office administrator (2+ years preferred)
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Diploma or certification in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
