Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting daily operations and ensuring efficient workflow within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive accounting/bookkeeping knowledge, strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Duties (Among others):



Maintaining accurate books on accounts payables and receivables, daily financial entries and reconciliations, general ledger entries, monthly financial reporting, and record payments and adjustments. Accurately record Purchase Orders, supplier invoices and any supporting documents. Process account payables on a timely manner. Accurately record customer invoices and any associated supporting documents. Generate weekly AR reports. Process weekly payroll ensuring timely payments to employees. Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including bank account and Credit cards reconciliations. Process quarterly and monthly remittances. Provide administrative support by managing diverse daily functions, such as freight booking, managing CARM Portal and others. Maintain accurate records and files, including documentation related to accounting functions. Knowledge and experience with NetSuite would be an asset. Excellent command of the English language. Prepare financial reports as needed. Respond to inquiries from team members, clients and vendors in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members on various tasks and projects, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller.

Experience



Previous experience in a bookkeeper role. Familiarity with NetSuite accounting software would be an asset. Extensive knowledge of financial processes including journal entries, budgeting, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
