Job Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant to support our team with various administrative and accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities



Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files. Assist with bookkeeping tasks, including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable management. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks for data entry and financial reporting. Support payroll processing and maintain employee records as required. Conduct account analysis and assist in budgeting activities to help manage financial performance. Prepare reports and documentation for internal use or external stakeholders as needed. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.

Requirements



Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred. Strong understanding of accounting principles, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is Mandatory. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
