We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper / Administrator to manage monthly bookkeeping and provide general accounting and administrative support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their work, and has experience supporting real estate companies.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting
Perform monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations
Enter and code accounts payable (AP) invoices accurately and on time
Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with month-end close processes
Support preparation of financial reports for internal use
Coordinate with external accountants as needed
Administrative Support
Maintain organized digital filing systems
Assist with general administrative and operational tasks
Support ad hoc accounting and finance-related projects
Help improve and document internal processes and workflows
Qualifications
Proven experience with accounting software such as Yardi Breeze, QuickBooks or similar
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, receivable, and account reconciliations
Knowledge of payroll processing and financial reporting
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports for management decision-making
Familiarity with budgeting processes is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
