We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team in a dynamic role with growth opportunity. Our new team member will help to ensure the workplace runs smoothly and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills and ability to answer client questions, communicate effectively with clients in writing, over the phone and in person
Knowledge and exposure to client government remittances an asset
Reliability and flexibility
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to take initiative and make decisions within job scope
Capable of managing demanding situations and deadlines
Manage time and work independently with minimal supervision
Tax preparation experience an asset
The role will involve:
Managing and coordinating office operations
Will be responsible for working directly with clients
All aspects of client bookkeeping - accounts payable/receivable, payroll, government remittances
Greet office guests, answer phones and direct calls
Assist in ongoing projects and initiatives that are constantly changing
Requirements
Quickbooks or Quickbooks online experience: 2 years
Bookkeeping: 2 years
Fluency in English
