We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial processes. The Administrative Assistant will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing overall administrative support.
Duties
Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
Assist with bookkeeping responsibilities such as maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Conduct account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for various financial tasks.
Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement in financial management.
Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and enhance office efficiency.
Experience
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, particularly in bookkeeping and financial management.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
Familiarity with payroll processing, account reconciliation, budgeting, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
