Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our daily operations through efficient administrative and bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software and possess strong organizational skills to ensure smooth business processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and proficiency in financial management are highly valued. Potential to work some hours at home, with some flexibility in schedule. Must have reliable transportation to clients requiring on site visits.

Duties



Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to verify financial accuracy Assist with account analysis and budgeting activities to support financial planning Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Maintain organized bookkeeping records, including invoices, receipts, and financial statements Support administrative functions such as data entry, filing, and correspondence related to finance and accounting tasks Collaborate with the finance team to prepare reports and assist with audits or financial reviews as needed

Qualifications



Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and account reconciliation Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks effectively Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping Familiarity with budgeting processes and account analysis is preferred but not required Prior experience in an administrative support role is advantageous Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
