Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. We are an tax and bookkeeping company, and the role would be to handle the bookkeeping needs of our clients and serve as backup to reception for vacations and such.

Duties



Update and enter transactions in Quickbooks Desktop and Online for various clients Bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation, related tasks Reasonable phone manner, willing to call clients for missing information Attention to detail and organizational skills Assist in payroll processing and maintain accurate payroll records Print reports, sign into online services, complete bookkeeping tasks on time

Skills



Proficient in accounting software including QuickBooks Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Experience with payroll processing and related tasks Knowledge of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable management Ability to perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation efficiently

Bottom Line



Need a bookkeeper and need a backup to reception. Reasonable full-time work, if you wanted to expand into T1 tax prep, that's possible but not expected. In person role, remote would be rare occasion. Flexible time if covered. May be considering 2 part time roles if there's complimentary schedules between 2 applicants.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
