Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our financial data. Proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical skills are essential to support our company's financial health and compliance. Responsibilities



Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including data entry and record keeping Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, to maintain accurate financial records Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and month-end closing procedures Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance purposes Support payroll processing and related activities as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information flow

Administrative Duties



General office administration and correspondence Filing and document management (digital and physical) Coordinating with vendors, accountants, and service providers Supporting management with reports and documentation

Payroll & HR Administration



Processing payroll and payroll adjustments Managing employee files and onboarding documents Assisting with benefits administration Supporting WCB claims and documentation

Experience



Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a similar industry Proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, or equivalent platforms Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processes, and financial regulations Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and account analysis is highly desirable Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable management Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately under deadlines Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
