Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and performing bank reconciliations. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of accounting principles to ensure the integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities



Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely. Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all financial records align with bank statements. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Assist in the preparation of financial reports by compiling data from various sources. Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies. Support month-end closing processes by preparing necessary journal entries and reconciliations. Utilize accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks for efficient data entry and reporting. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for account reconciliation.

Experience



Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with accounting software, particularly Sage or QuickBooks, is highly desirable. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and reporting. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data management and reporting purposes.
