Malivoire Wine is a family run company located on the Beamsville Bench in Niagara, Ontario.
Established in 1997, our focus has been on terroir driven expressions of chardonnay, gamay, pinot
noir, rose and sparkling wines grown from our 30ha of vineyards. The first gravity designed winery in
Ontario, Malivoire was recognized by the National Wine Awards as Canada's Winery of the Year in
2021.

Malivoire seeks a bookkeeper/accountant to work with our dynamic team in all areas of the business,
reporting to our President and Team Principal/GM.
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
Perform all full-cycle accounting functions including banking, AR, AP, payroll and related
communications and reconciliations.
Perform compliance reporting for various statutory and compliance reporting including HST, Excise
and Payroll
Prepare J10, WAAO and Ministry of Finance reporting and remit payments.
Communicate with external accountants and year end preparation.
Account reconciliations including operating accounts, capital assets and amortization schedules.
Analysis of inventory counts, reconciliations and working with operations teams on metrics
Assisting in production costing of wine production work in progress and finished goods
Sales reconciliation from Shopify, Stripe and Tock into POS system
Support department managers in creation of operational plans, budgets and ongoing review and
analysis
Support role for product margin and sales channel analysis
Assess opportunities for business or system process improvements and efficiencies.
Creation of dashboards and management reports
HR: New employee contracts and onboarding, benefits management, employee manual updates
The candidate would ideally have the following skills and experience:
Working knowledge and experience of full accounting cycle.
Recent working experience with QuickBooks Online.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite with advanced excel skills.
Experience in wine industry, manufacturing or construction phases of companies.
Post secondary diploma in accounting/bookkeeping and finance Qualified CPA is preferred but not
mandatory.
Salary to be determined based on experience and qualifications, however Malivoire Wine has
demonstrated commitment to fair value compensation for all team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
