Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper with 3 to 4 years experience in QBD & QBO to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable and payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles to support our financial operations effectively, with good communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities



Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Process accounts payable and manage general ledger entries. Perform day-to-day account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records enabling on time monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual BRS. Utilize accounting software QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, for daily financial transactions. Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations for multiple intra and inter-clients Prepare and analyze financial reports in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD). Ensure timely and accurate financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards. Handle other ad-hoc bookkeeping duties as required Coordinate with intra and external clients to address financial queries and provide guidance. Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies on a daily basis. Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits and reviews. Collaborate with other departments to support financial reporting and analysis.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential. Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation processes. Familiarity with budgeting practices and payroll processing is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders Preference will be given to candidates residing in or near Mississauga.
