Job Description

We're on the lookout for a trustworthy, detail-loving Bookkeeper to help keep our business on track. This primarily on-site, part-time role is about 30 hours per week and is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers and supporting a small but busy team.

What you'll do:



Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Process payroll and employee expense claims Maintain general ledgers and prepare month-end reports Monitor bank transactions and complete reconciliations Assist with budget tracking, cash flow, and financial projections Prepare and file tax remittances, GST/HST, and year-end summaries Organize receipts, paperwork, and digital financial records Support external accountants during audits or year-end reviews Liaise with vendors, clients, and team members as needed Tackle special financial projects or process improvements

What we're looking for:



2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (bonus for small business or tech/SaaS backgrounds) Completion of a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred Comfortable with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar) and digital tools (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office) Sharp attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Dependable, self-driven, and proactive--able to work independently and with a small team Great communication skills and professional discretion Experience supporting tech/B2B companies is a big asset
