We are seeking a Bookkeeper who is highly organized, a clear communicator, and has strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently, multi-task, and be proactive and adaptable is a must in our dynamic environment. Duties & Responsibilities:



Weekly processing of Accounts payable through Dext, printing cheques and creating ACHs. Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Attending monthly Finance Committee meetings and taking minutes and sending them to the team. Assist with year end duties and prepare working papers for external auditors. Responsible for ensuring the accounting records are prepared accurately. Work directly with the Controller to assist in other ad hoc duties. Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights.

Qualifications & Skills



Completion of a post-secondary accounting program or certificate. Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts. One year minimum. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating complex formulas, using pivot tables, generating charts etc. A baseline understanding of accounting concepts and the ability to correctly identify and record accounting transactions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform account analysis effectively. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Additional Information:



Working schedule is 16 hrs/week, with flexible hours between Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Contract duration - until March 31, 2026 Successful candidates will be required to complete a Criminal Record Check. Hourly salary will be negotiated * Extended health benefits will be available for qualifying staff.
