English and Mandarin
, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and hold a valid BC driver's license. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and handle both financial and administrative tasks effectively.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar capacity
Fluency in both English and Mandarin
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and office tools
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid BC driver's license
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and transactions
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner
Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and assist with budgets
Provide administrative support and assist in audit preparations
Efficiently handle various tasks independently and in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field
Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
* Additional language proficiency is a plus
