We are a leading Canadian fireworks group seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our finance team. This role plays an important part in managing daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions.
Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and efficient collections.
Process payroll, including all related deductions and government remittances.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records to ensure a smooth audit process.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal team members.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Quasimodo ERP, or similar).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Demonstrates good judgment, initiative, and a proactive work ethic.
