Job Summary:



We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the financial operations of multiple client companies. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across several entities, managing intercompany transactions, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong multitasking abilities, excellent time management skills, and experience working in a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for full-cycle accounting for multiple clients across various industries Ensure all records are maintained in compliance with Ontario regulations and CRA standards Maintain confidentiality and security of all financial records Ensure compliance with each company's accounting procedures and regulatory requirements Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments Serve as the primary contact for clients and vendors while providing responsive, client-focused service with strong attention to accuracy and professionalism Monitor and respond to accounting related emails Process accounts payable and accounts receivable Prepare and file government remittances including HST, payroll, EHT and WSIB Manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations Audit and reconcile cash deposits Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements Manage and monitor loans payable and receivable Manage and audit staff expense reports and submitted receipts Calculate and process residual payments for referral partners Report monthly sales to landlords Audit royalty and marketing fees from franchisors and ensure timely payment Audit third party delivery application sales and fees Prepare and issue monthly financial reports Assist in month-end and year-end closings for each entity Collaborate with accountants or auditors to support accurate reporting and filings Onboard new clients and maintain clean, organized files Assist with payroll responsibilities Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications and Skills:



Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or outsourced accounting environment Proficiency with QuickBooks Online accounting software is required Strong understanding of full cycle accounting, GAAP and standard bookkeeping practices Knowledge of HST filings and payroll processes Ability to streamline workflows and maintain consistency across clients Strong communication and client service skills Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy across high transaction volumes Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines and responsibilities for multiple clients Critical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to self-motivate and work independently Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 37.5 per week
