Awesome CEO, great benefits, and lots of room for growth! We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join our team at Patra Stone Work located in Cloverdale / Surrey. Since 1999, Patra Stone Works Ltd has specialized in manufacturing and installing natural and quartz surface countertops

  • Use SAGE application to compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables of cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
  • Complies with federal, provincial, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • File GST/PST/WCB/EHT remittances
  • Reconciliation of GL for AP, AR, Bank account and VISA accounts.
  • Manage AP and reconcile AP balance with suppliers; follow up on discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Performs other related duties as needed.
Job Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary School (preferred)
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
  • Bookkeeping
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 application and SAGE Business Cloud Accounting software.
  • Preparation of GST returns; familiarity with GST rules/requirements
  • Preparation of PST returns; familiarity with PST rules/requirements
  • Preparation of WorkSafeBC Reports.
  • You are a positive, self-motivated professional with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Benefits Salary is negotiable (Based on experience). We also offer medical/dental and extended health benefits upon completion of the probation period.
