Bookkeeper
to join our team through the
NOHFC People & Talent Program

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll support our finance and operations team by assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative functions, including:
Entering daily expenses, invoices, and receipts into accounting software
Reconciling bank and credit card statements monthly
Assisting with customer invoicing and account statements
Supporting timesheet processing and preparing basic payroll summaries
Maintaining digital financial records and organized filing systems
Helping prepare monthly financial summaries and reports
Tracking and categorizing expenses by department/service
Assisting with year-end preparation documents
Responding to basic inquiries from vendors and clients about billing or payment status
Supporting administrative tasks such as updating internal schedules or inventory tracking

Requirements (NOHFC Eligibility)
To qualify, applicants must:
Be at least
18 years old
Live in Northern Ontario
Be
legally entitled to work in Canada
Be unemployed, underemployed, or entering a new career
Not be a previous participant in an NOHFC internship
Not be related to the owner or hiring team
This position is funded in partnership with the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC).
