Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely bank reconciliations. This role requires experience and proficiency in using Sage 50 software.

Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly. Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining vendor relationships. Oversee accounts receivable by tracking outstanding invoices, sending reminders, and ensuring timely collections. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review. Assist with account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial reporting. Collaborate with external auditors during audits to provide necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software (Sage) is essential. Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes and payroll management. Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions is required. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with vendors, clients, and team members professionally.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
