Job Description

Revelstoke Property Services is looking for a bookkeeper to join its accounting team. Ideally suited for someone who has full cycle bookkeeping experience. Property management or real estate experience is a plus. The ideal candidate would be team-oriented, organized, efficient, and motivated. Offering a competitive wage in the range of $23 to $28 per hour. Candidates will be required to visit our office in Revelstoke at least once every two weeks, sometimes once per week. Candidates must live within reasonable driving distance to make these periodic office visits.

The Ideal Candidate:

Full Cycle bookkeeping experience including accounts receivable/payable, account reconciliations, and property management accounting experience. Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering information. Motivated self-starter who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with self-discipline for the remote first work model. Advanced knowledge and experience using QuickBooks accounting software. Works collaboratively within a team environment. Proficient in the English language. Personable and friendly with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities include:

Record all financial transactions of the business including its expenses, sales, and all cash flow. Able to collaborate with the U.S.-based controller to bring books to the trial balance stage. Process accounts receivables and payables. Keep a record of financial transactions daily; verify incoming and outgoing transactions. Other duties as reasonably assigned.
