Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial statements, budgets, cash flow reports, and variance analyses Process accounts payable and receivable, payroll entries, reconciliations, accruals, and amortizations Support month-end and year-end close processes, including audit preparation Ensure consistent, complete, and accurate financial information in compliance with accounting standards Perform timely and accurate data entry across financial systems Support internal financial inquiries and provide cross-functional finance support Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and documentation Stay current with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to non-profits

Qualifications:

Degree in accounting, finance, or business or combination of education and experience CPA designation or currently enrolled in the CPA program is an asset 1-3 years of accounting experience Familiarity with accounting software (Sage preferred) Understanding of accounting principles, audit practices, and internal controls Knowledge of payroll processing compliance Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Collaborative, solutions-focused mindset

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
