Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely reporting of financial information. This role is essential in supporting the overall financial health of our organization and requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data. Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accounted for. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring to support financial planning. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero for efficient record-keeping. Prepare financial reports and statements for management review. Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Maintain organized financial records in accordance with company policies.

Skills

Proficiency in accounts payable, account reconciliation, and account analysis. Experience with bank reconciliation processes. Strong knowledge of payroll procedures and compliance requirements. Familiarity with budgeting practices and financial forecasting. Proficient in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks and Xero. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately.
