Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and supporting overall accounting functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting software to contribute to the financial health of our organization. Prior experience with various accounting tools and a solid understanding of financial processes are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry and record keeping Utilize Quickbooks accounting software to maintain accurate financial records Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

Skills

Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software is required Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards is a plus Experience with payroll processing and related compliance procedures is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
