detail-oriented Bookkeeper
to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the firm's day-to-day financial operations, trust accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have
prior experience in a legal or professional services environment
and must be proficient with
PC Law
accounting software.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
Manage client trust accounts in compliance with Law Society requirements
Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations (trust, general, and operating accounts)
Process accounts payable and receivable, including client billing and disbursements
Generate and analyze financial reports to support management decisions
Assist with payroll and expense tracking
Liaise with accountants and partners during audits or year-end closings
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience (law firm experience preferred)
Proficiency with PC Law
is required
Strong understanding of
trust accounting and reconciliations
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
