Overview


We are hiring an experienced detail-oriented, organized Bookkeeper with experience in full cycle bookkeeping. The position is part-time (two days per week) and the week days are flexible. The candidate must be comfortable in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities



Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, monthly sales journal. Prepare monthly GST, PST and yearly Worksafe remittances in a timely manner. Preparing bank deposits and reconciling monthly bank statements, credit cards and other financial accounts. Prepare monthly sales journal and post to general ledger. Prepare and post month end closing entries. Maintain organized, secure and up-to-date records of all financial records.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience Intermediate Excel skill Strong experience in Sage Strong understanding of accounting practices Attention to detail and analytical skills Effective communication skills, both written and verbal This position is in-house (not remote)
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Work Location: In person
