We're Looking for a Bookkeeper/Payroll. Could it be you?
This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers and contributing to a mission-driven organization. As our Bookkeeper, you'll support our Finance team with payroll, accounts payable, and billing while collaborating closely with Project Managers and vendors.
What You'll Be Doing
Monitor AP email inboxes
Process accounts payable invoices including reviewing for accuracy and proper coding
Investigate and resolve discrepancies
Reconcile monthly vendor statements
Prepare AP reports and support AP payment processes
Prepare AR time and material and other non-project billing
Prepare AR reports and follow up on related payments
Bi-weekly payroll as part of a team
What You Bring to the Role
Strong organizational and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in all financial tasks
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
Comfortable handling multiple priorities and deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Viewpoint Spectrum is a plus
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of bookkeeping experience
Familiarity with payroll, A/P, and project-based billing
Construction industry experience is an asset
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
