Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Mississauga. In this role, you will manage financial records, ensure accuracy in bookkeeping processes, and support our accounting functions to help us maintain our high standards of service and operational efficiency. This position is vital to supporting our mission of delivering reliable HVAC/R solutions.

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely processing. Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy. Prepare financial reports and assist with account analysis. Support payroll processing and related activities. Assist in budgeting and financial planning activities. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role within the HVAC/R or related industries. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential. Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy in data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Prior experience with payroll processing is preferred. Knowledge of budgeting processes is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
