With over 60 employees', this owner-managed business delivers a quality product to our customer, and we are looking for an accounting technician to support our efforts.

We are seeking a detail oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, payable and receivable and ensuring accounting standards.

TASK/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare statistical and financial reports

Prepare tax returns

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently

Prepare payroll and ensure timely payment of employees

Ensure compliance of relevant trust regulations

Maintain accurate and up to date financial records using accurate software

Process accounts reconciliation (resolving discrepancies)

REQUIREMENTS

2 years as a bookkeeper

Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Ability to perform account analysis and bank reconciliations

This is an in person, full time position, must reside in or near Medicine Hat.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
