Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role is essential in supporting our financial operations and providing insights into the company's financial health.

Duties

Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Conduct bank reconciliations to verify account balances and transactions. Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review. Assist in budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and analysis. Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.

Experience

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis, and budgeting is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are a must. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
